This Stable Rug is both highly protective and comfortable. The interior features Kentucky’s signature artificial rabbit skin, which prevents chafing and polishes the horse’s coat. This lining also creates an insulating layer that retains the horse’s body heat. The 200g fill, is ideal for a medium weight stable rug, where as the 400g can be used as a heavy weight stable rug suited more for colder days and nights. The exterior is made of 600D high tenacity polyester, quilted in a diamond pattern, which is durable, resistant to tearing, and prevents shavings from sticking.
The rug’s design is anatomical, secured with two sturdy front buckles and two surcingles made from seatbelt webbing. The artificial rabbit skin allows the rug to reposition itself after the horse rolls or lies down. For enhanced protection, artificial sheepskin has been added to the wither area, making it a highly protective rug.
