Positioned beneath the outer fabric, the waterproof and breathable membrane boasts a 10,000mm hydrostatic head rating and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24 hours. Millions of precisely sized microscopic pores allow air to circulate efficiently while preventing water droplets from penetrating the fabric. 

A second hydrophilic membrane, integrated deeper within the rug’s construction, draws moisture away from the horse’s coat and disperses it effectively to help maintain a dry, comfortable environment. This innovative dual-membrane system enhances waterproof performance while protecting the 50g thermo-bonded insulation, helping to preserve the rug’s durability and performance over time. 

Designed with comfort and freedom of movement in mind, the Buster 50g Original features a carefully shaped cut that sits 2–4 inches in front of the wither, allowing the neckline to fall comfortably ahead of the shoulder. The updated design incorporates a patented, extra-high elasticated shoulder gusset, offering greater flexibility and unrestricted movement in the field. Reflective strips at the front and rear improve visibility in low-light conditions, while strategically positioned chest clip closures, surcingle bars and fittings are crafted from high-quality stainless steel for dependable, long-lasting performance. 

The rug’s innovative deep-cut design creates a seamless wraparound fit, secured by low-cross surcingles for stability and comfort.
