Engineered to withstand the toughest conditions, the Titan 100g Turnout Rug combines exceptional durability with advanced weather protection and outstanding comfort. Crafted from lightweight yet robust 1680 denier ballistic nylon, it is designed to deliver reliable performance and long-lasting protection during turnout.

Advanced Waterproof and Breathable Technology

Featuring innovative fabric technology, the Titan incorporates two specialised membranes, complemented by a Teflon-coated outer shell for enhanced stain resistance and moisture protection.

Beneath the outer fabric sits a high-performance waterproof and breathable membrane, boasting a 10,000mm waterproof rating and 10,000g/m²/24-hour breathability rating. Millions of precisely sized microscopic pores allow moisture vapour to escape while preventing water droplets from penetrating the rug.

A second hydrophilic membrane works deeper within the rug’s construction, drawing moisture away from the horse’s coat and dispersing it to help maintain a dry, comfortable environment. This dual-membrane system enhances waterproof protection while safeguarding the 100g thermo-bonded filling, helping to preserve the rug’s performance and longevity.

Superior Fit and Freedom of Movement

Designed with comfort and practicality in mind, the Titan 100g Turnout Rug features a forward-cut neckline positioned 2–4 inches in front of the wither, allowing the rug to sit comfortably ahead of the shoulder.

The patented, mid-height elasticated shoulder gusset promotes a secure, comfortable fit while allowing greater freedom of movement in the field. Reflective strips at the front and rear improve visibility in low-light conditions, while strategically positioned chest clip closures, surcingle bars and stainless-steel hardware provide dependable, long-lasting functionality.

Innovative Design for Maximum Comfort

The Titan’s deep-cut, seamless construction is designed to wrap naturally around the horse, secured by low-cross surcingles for a stable, comfortable fit. This carefully considered design minimises pressure along the spine, prioritising comfort throughout turnout.

With its proven self-righting design, the rug naturally returns to the correct position as the horse moves, helping to prevent slipping and ensuring a consistent fit without the need for leg straps.

Enhanced Weather Protection

An extended tail flap combines waterproof and padded elements to provide additional coverage and help resist wind lift. The included patented Snug-Fit neck cover features an elasticated poll for a closer fit, helping to reduce wind chill and provide enhanced protection against the elements.

Convenient liner attachments allow the lightweight rug to be adapted to suit changing weather conditions and your horse’s individual needs. Inside, an antibacterial and anti-static lining helps promote hygiene, comfort and healthy coat condition.

For added convenience, the Titan 100g Turnout Rug includes a clip-on, PVC-coated tail strap with an easy-clean finish to help maintain durability and simplify cleaning. Although the rug’s self-righting design means leg straps are not required, a pair of adjustable, clip-on leg straps is included for those who prefer to use them.
