Kentucky Horsewear Stable Rug 200g 

The Stable Rug 200g is a stand out product from Kentucky Horsewear from their latest range. For any horse this is a very comfortable rug, a must-have for clipped horses or horses with sensitive skin. A lovely product, it is able to offer great warmth and comfort and it’s also a very easy to use rug for any rider. As well as being able to offer warmth, it is also highly breathable thanks to the combination of the materials.

It’s fabrics and materials are also very unique, as the inside of the rug has Kentucky’s signature artificial rabbit skin. As a result this is able to prevent the rug from rubbing whilst being able to polish the horse’s coat. The artificial rabbit skin is also able to create an isolating layer around the horse as it traps and retains the horse’s body heat. It also has a weight filling of 200g, which is perfect for any medium weight stable rug. The outside of the rug also has a 600D high tenacity polyester and is quilted in a diamond pattern. The 600D high tenacity polyester has some very effective hard wearing and hard to tear attributes and plus the benefit that shavings won’t stick to the fabric.

In terms of its shape and size, the rug is anatomically shaped and closes with 2 strong front buckles and 2 surcingles with seatbelt webbing. It’s artificial rabbit skin enables the rug to glide back in place after rolling or laying down. Being a highly protective type of rug, for added wither protection, an artificial sheepskin has also been added on the wither area of the rug.

For any rider, as well as comfortable, this is very straightforward effective product and easy to use. Any shavings can be brushed off with ease and it is easily washable at 30 degrees.
