The smooth inside finish moulds to the body and aids in wicking away moisture, whilst the outer mesh fabric channels airflow, allowing heat from the horse’s body to escape at a steady rate.
The technical construction of this cooler fabric helps prevent chills and also allows air to circulate the body, helping to regulate temperature. The mesh fabric maximises the surface area in which air circulation reaches, decreasing drying time.
An antibacterial breathable nylon lining over the shoulder and neck area helps prevent rubbing and is comfortable against the horse’s skin. The Airflow Cooler Rug is particularly suited to horses that are prone to overheating in transit.
