Made from durable 600 denier diamond triple weave polyester, the Akoni 100g Turnout Rug offers warmth and breathable protection for cooler, changeable weather, with a 10,000mm waterproof rating and 10,000g/m²/24h breathability rating. Its Teflon-coated outer provides stain and moisture resistance, while the waterproof membrane helps keep your horse dry and comfortable.
Carefully designed for an improved fit, the rug is cut 2–4 inches in front of the wither, allowing the neckline to sit comfortably ahead of the shoulder. Complete with a detachable Classic neck cover and liner attachments, the Akoni can be easily adapted to provide additional warmth when required.
Reflective strips at the front and rear improve visibility in low-light conditions, while the extra-high patented elasticated shoulder gusset allows greater freedom of movement. Strategically positioned chest clips, surcingle bars and hardware are crafted from high-quality stainless steel for lasting strength and functionality.
An antibacterial and anti-static lining supports comfort, hygiene and coat health. The rug also includes a durable clip-on PVC-coated tail strap and adjustable leg straps, although its self-righting design means leg straps are not required.
