Positioned directly beneath the outer fabric, the breathable and waterproof membrane boasts a 10,000mm waterproof rating and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24h. Millions of precision-sized microscopic pores allow heat and moisture vapour to escape while preventing water droplets from penetrating the fabric, helping to keep your horse dry and comfortable. 

A second hydrophilic membrane, located deeper within the rug’s construction, actively draws moisture away from the horse’s coat and disperses it throughout the fabric. This innovative dual-membrane system enhances waterproof performance while protecting the 200g thermo-bonded filling, helping to maintain the rug’s durability and performance season after season. 

Designed with comfort and functionality at its core, the Buster Storm 200g Combo Turnout Rug features a seamless, integrated Snug-Fit neck cover that sits comfortably in front of the shoulder, helping to minimise wither pressure and reduce the risk of rubbing. The patented Snug-Fit neck cover incorporates an elasticated poll for a closer, more secure fit, helping to minimise wind chill and retain warmth. The design has evolved to include an extra-high, patented elasticated shoulder gusset, offering enhanced freedom of movement during turnout. 

Reflective strips positioned at the front and rear of the rug improve visibility in low-light conditions. Strategically positioned chest clip closures, surcingle bars and fittings are crafted from high-quality stainless steel, delivering reliable functionality and long-lasting durability. 

The rug’s signature deep-cut design and seamless construction allow it to wrap securely around the horse, with low-cross surcingles helping to maintain a comfortable, stable fit.
