Positioned directly beneath the outer fabric, the breathable and waterproof membrane offers a 10,000mm waterproof rating and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24h. Millions of precision-sized microscopic pores allow heat and moisture vapour to escape while preventing water droplets from penetrating the fabric, helping to keep your horse dry and comfortable. 

A second hydrophilic membrane, positioned deeper within the rug’s construction, actively draws moisture away from the horse’s coat and disperses it throughout the fabric. This innovative dual-membrane system enhances waterproof performance while protecting the 220g thermo-bonded filling, helping to extend the rug’s lifespan and maintain its performance season after season. 

Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, the Buster Storm Classic 220g Combo Turnout Rug features a seamless, integrated neck cover that sits comfortably in front of the shoulder, helping to minimise wither pressure and reduce the risk of rubbing. The design incorporates an extra-high, patented elasticated shoulder gusset, allowing enhanced freedom of movement during turnout. Reflective strips positioned at the front and rear of the rug improve visibility in low-light conditions, while strategically placed chest-clip closures, surcingle bars and fittings are crafted from high-quality stainless steel for lasting durability and reliable performance. 

The rug’s signature deep-cut design and seamless construction allow it to wrap securely around the horse, with low-cross surcingles helping to maintain a stable and comfortable fit. Carefully engineered to relieve pressure along the spine, this design prioritises comfort without compromising security.
