Positioned directly beneath the outer fabric, the breathable and waterproof membrane offers a 10,000mm waterproof rating and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24h. Millions of precision-sized microscopic pores allow heat and moisture vapour to escape while preventing water droplets from penetrating the fabric, helping to maintain a dry and comfortable environment for your horse. 

A second hydrophilic membrane, positioned deeper within the rug’s construction, actively draws moisture away from the horse’s coat and disperses it throughout the fabric. This innovative dual-membrane system enhances waterproof performance while protecting the 400g thermo-bonded filling, helping to extend the rug’s lifespan and preserve its performance season after season. 

Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, the Buster Storm 400g Combo Turnout Rug features a seamless, integrated neck cover that sits comfortably in front of the shoulder, helping to minimise wither pressure and reduce the risk of rubbing. The design has evolved to incorporate an extra-high, patented elasticated shoulder gusset, providing enhanced flexibility and greater freedom of movement during turnout. Reflective strips positioned at the front and rear of the rug improve visibility in low-light conditions, while strategically placed chest-clip closures, surcingle bars and fittings are crafted from high-quality stainless steel for lasting durability and reliable functionality. 

The rug’s signature deep-cut design and seamless construction allow it to wrap securely around the horse, with low-cross surcingles helping to maintain a stable and comfortable fit.
