Created for colder and more unpredictable conditions, the Akoni 200g Turnout Rug provides dependable warmth without compromising breathability, with a 10,000mm waterproof rating and 10,000g/m²/24h breathability rating. The robust 600 denier diamond triple weave polyester outer is treated with a Teflon coating to repel moisture and resist stains, while the waterproof membrane provides reliable protection from wet weather.
The rug’s carefully shaped neckline sits 2–4 inches in front of the wither, helping it rest comfortably ahead of the shoulder. A detachable Classic neck cover offers additional coverage, while integrated liner attachments make it easy to increase warmth when temperatures fall.
Reflective detailing at the front and rear improves visibility during darker mornings and evenings. The extra-high patented elasticated shoulder gusset encourages natural movement, while strong stainless-steel chest clips, surcingle bars and fittings ensure a secure and durable finish.
Inside, the antibacterial and anti-static lining helps maintain comfort, hygiene and coat condition. The self-righting design provides stability during turnout, with a clip-on PVC-coated tail strap and optional adjustable leg straps also included.
