The Samshield Shadow Glossy 2.0 Riding Hat is designed and made with rider safety as a top priority to provide optimum fit, and unprecedented comfort.

After four years of research and development, Samshield has made some upgrades to the original Shadowmatt first by making the shell deeper and slightly rounder to be more suitable for more shapes of heads. An integrated chin strap for all hairstyles, a semi-rigid chinstrap and a neater harness for a closer more comfortable fit and a new clip system to replace the touch close hook and loop system used to secure the comfort foam. Updated shaping to the back profile and design with added air vents.

Made in polycarbonate, the same material used for high-end motorcycle helmets with anti-scratch matt painting with an inner shell that is polystyrene with variable density to provide better dissipation of the energy produced on impact.

The internal lining system uses a comfort foam that holds its shape ensuring a constant thickness over years of use and a semi-rigid jugular to cancel the risks of the helmet tipping in a violent movement such as in a fall. The liner is removable and washable, with a strong fastening that also allows you to change the size of the hat within the shell size.

The Samshield Shadowmatt is available in four shell sizes Small, Medium, Large and X/Large. Each shell can accommodate 4 to 5 inner foams of different sizes to perfectly adjust the rider’s head, a useful feature, especially for young riders who are still growing.

Created to offer desirable technical features such as better dissipation of the energy produced upon impact with no risk of tipping the helmet in case of violent movement matched with exceptional ventilation, adjustment, comfort and hygiene.
